Brian and Co.,
I want to thank you for this very moving video you made. You might know me from my comments on FB as Darcy, but I am actually SGT (RET) Darcy L. Quinlan. Due to several injuries received while in the line of duty, I was in a Wounded Warrior Unit for almost three years. I then was placed on Dec 28,2008 on TDRL (Temporary Disability Retirement Leave)to recover at home. One of the main things this war has given me is PTSD and even though I have been out since 2008, I still struggle daily with PTSD and its side affects. While in the Army and working in the Casualty Affairs Dept during the worst year of the war, I was a witness 24/7 to KIA’s, Wounded Soldiers, and the loss of several Soldier friends of mine.
One of the ways I cheer myself up everyday (while fighting panic attacks/depression, severe back pain), is by enjoying the photos you post of Brenda and her other furry friends. I would like to, with your permission let the Wounded Warrior Unit (WTU) on Ft. Hood know about your beautiful site and the lovely work you are doing with Ms. Brenda.
Once again Sir, thank you on behalf of Soldiers everywhere,
SGT Quinlan
